[He lies back in Thomas' bed, puts down the phone on his bare chest (he lost his shirt when he spilled some of the brandy), and waits.]

[He has to take a moment, when he gets back.

(he should have drunk more before he came back; there's only the slightest hint of a buzz to help distract from this)

Eventually though, Thomas sighs, shutting and locking the door behind himself and moving to sit down on the edge of the bed.]

[Chris...doesn't look in the best shape. His eyes are pretty red, at least.

He turns his head a little so he can look straight at Thomas, but looks down before he speaks.]

[He reaches to try to get hold of one of Thomas' hands.]

[He deflects the hand by reaching out to take Chris's phone off of his chest instead, letting out a quiet sigh and just moving it to his lap.]
